While much of the focus may be on the United States, the recent financial crisis has impacted countries around the world, some worse than others. One sees varying degrees of impact when looking at on the crisis in the five largest European countries and the U.S. Italy appears to be the hardest hit with three in ten (29 percent) saying the financial crisis has had a major impact and an additional one-third (33 percent) saying it has had a moderate impact on their personal financial situation.
